A Night Crafting With Girls Got Chops in Jersey City, NJ

As an outdoorsy girl living in a city, I’ve been looking for more ways to bring the outdoors indoors. No, I don’t want to take home a pet grizzly bear or set up a tent in my living room. I’m starting with decorating my home, but I was trying to figure out how to combine both mountains and hiking with city vibes. It all clicked when a local Jersey friend shared that she was hosting a workshop on creating mixed-media collages. Wrapping up summer with a Jersey Shore music festival

Picture this: it’s the dead of winter, and I’m freezing in Western New York. I see an ad for a summer music festival in New Jersey, with promises of good music and fun times. To break out of this winter funk, I buy tickets after seeing Stevie Nicks headlining.

Fast forward to September 2022. I’m in Asbury Park, NJ, for Sea Hear Now Festival. It’s sunny, 80 degrees, and there’s not a cloud in sight.
